Junior Belles
Designed especially for 8th grade young ladies, this program introduces participants to the Symphony League while fostering friendships, community service, and a love of classical music. The Junior Belles will take part in fun events throughout the year, including:

Musical Enrichment – exclusive opportunities to learn more about the symphony and classical music.

Community Engagement – service that gives back to our San Antonio classical music community.

League Traditions – the chance to be recognized at League events alongside our Belle classes.

Junior Belles will participate in the Belle Presentation at the annual Belle Ball and are invited to attend the Toast to the Belles luncheon with our Senior Belle Class
This inaugural Junior Belle class will be part of a very special moment in our history. As we honor 75 years of supporting music and music education in South Texas, we also look forward to inspiring the next generation of young women who will carry our mission forward.

Junior Belle Program Requirements
The Junior Belle Program (JBP) is designed for current 8th grade students who will graduate from high school in 2030.

League Membership – Each Junior Belle family is asked to hold a current membership in the Symphony League of San Antonio (SASL).

Participation – To stay active in the program, Junior Belles will take part in one Service Activity and one Educational Activity each year.

Program Cost – The Junior Belle Program fee is $750. This includes one ticket for the Junior Belle and one ticket for a parent or guardian to attend the Belle Ball on April 11, 2026.
Service Activity
Junior Belles will have the special honor of participating in the Belle Ball on April 11, 2026. Each participant will provide her own dress, shoes, and accessories for this memorable evening. Junior Belles are also invited to join the Toast to the Belles luncheon with the Senior Class—while optional, it’s a wonderful way to share in League traditions.
Educational Activity
Junior Belles will experience the joy of music by attending at least one classical concert, seminar (organized by SASL), or another enrichment opportunity. These events are designed to spark a love of classical music while learning alongside friends.
