Donate your used instruments and let the music live again!

Help us place instruments
in students' hands.
The Symphony League of San Antonio collects gently used (or even well-loved!) instruments to place in the hands of local school music programs. With budgets shrinking, many teachers are eager to launch or expand their programs but simply don’t have enough instruments for their students. By donating, you’re helping open the door to music education—an opportunity that enriches learning, builds confidence, and inspires creativity.
What we accept: Almost any instrument, in any condition—strings, woodwinds, brass, guitars, and more. Our team will evaluate and refurbish them as needed to ensure they’re ready for the classroom.
How you can help: Take a look through your closets, attics, and shelves—let’s bring the music back to life in your instrument! We’ll even arrange pickup and provide a receipt for your tax-deductible donation.

Instrument Deliveries - August 2024 - May 2025
Since the inception of this program, Edgewood ISD has received nearly 100 instruments and music accessories—including violins, clarinets, flutes, trombones, trumpets, guitars, keyboards, percussion instruments, a bassoon, an oboe, a piccolo, a banjo, a mandolin, and even two pianos!
Brennan High School’s guitar program was also gifted five electric guitars, giving students brand-new opportunities to learn, play, and perform.
Thank you, donors! Because of your generosity, countless students now have the chance to explore music in ways that were not possible before.
And we’re just getting started—let’s keep this project growing! Fill out the donation form below to help us place even more instruments into the hands of young musicians.
